- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
- Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
- Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
- Receive and relay information to central dispatch
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
- Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles)
- Dry bulk
- Straight truck (4,600kg+ or 10,000lbs+ with 3+ axles)

Responsibilities
Operate straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials locally, and load and unload cargo. Inspect the vehicle and its equipment before, during, and after trips, communicate with central dispatch, and record cargo, service hours, distance, and fuel use.
Requirements
No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, and prior experience is an asset. A valid Class 5/5F/G driver's licence is required, along with the ability to handle loads up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and pass criminal record and driving record checks.
