Salary Range
$29.53 per hour (with wage increments to a max of $32.97 per hour). Salary and wage increments are in accordance with the Collective Agreement.
The Opportunity
To provide technical and instructional support to the Stagecraft Program and users of the Performing Arts Facilities. Provides exceptional client-centred service on a consistent basis to all stakeholder groups.

What It Takes
- Completed a Degree program in Technical Theatre at a recognized post-secondary institution or equivalent with three years related work experience in a wide variety of technical theatre related areas or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Good working knowledge of English (written and verbal).
- Good working knowledge of safety measures used in a workshop/performance setting.
- Good working knowledge of ETC Lighting consoles, analogue and digital sound consoles, VectorWorks CAD , QLab and Isadora computer programs, rigging safety and procedures
- Good interpersonal and communication skills

- This on-call position is available starting October 19, 2026
- Hours of work will typically be scheduled between Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm. Scheduled hours range between 4 hours to 7 hours per day depending on the assignment.
- Evening and/or weekend work are required.
- The position is located at the New Westminster campus.
