Original job description

Dream is looking for a Revenue Control Administrator!

Dream Unlimited is always looking for the best and brightest minds to join its thriving community. Dream Office REIT is currently looking for a Revenue Control Administrator to join a new and growing team and report to the Associate Director, Operations Finance.

Who are you?

Dream Office is changing quickly, and we need to have the best people on board to help us do that. We want you to join us because we need your natural curiosity, your attention to detail, and your ability to adapt to a changing environment.

Over your 2-5 years of property management experience, which will have included some site experience, you’ve learned to be an excellent communicator and to balance work and fun: you are a social person, but you know when to put your head down and get the job done. You respect deadlines and have the ability to juggle your task list with things that come up unexpectedly.

You’ll be joining a new, small team, and as that team grows your role and responsibilities will change. But that’s ok, because you are flexible, a fast learner, and you can handle large volumes of work.

We care about bringing on someone who is eager to learn, work hard, and have fun. This is an opportunity for you to take on responsibilities and help your team develop, all in a work environment that is fast-paced, dynamic and fun.

What will you do?

Along with the responsibilities listed below, your role will entail some reporting, data analysis, and special projects. We can chat more about these responsibilities in person:

Review and process tenant billing and adjustment requests from site administrators;
Investigate and troubleshoot issues using your solid understanding of AR/AP/GL;
Process cash receipts and NSF payments;
Provide assistance to property administrators on cash and billing entry;
Analyze and review tenant accounts reconciliations;
Monitor and process incoming EFT payments;
Process internal invoicing between Dream businesses

What type of experience do you have?

These are only some of the things we’d like you to bring to the table. We can cover the rest when we meet:

A Business degree, diploma in Business Administration, and/or accounting experience.
3-5 years of experience in Accounts Receivables or Accounts Payable and ideally with JD Edwards.
You are more than comfortable with Microsoft Excel and Word.

Total Rewards @Dream

This is a regular, full-time position with a base salary range of $55,000-64,000. In addition to base salary, the role is eligible for a performance-based bonus and a comprehensive benefits package, which includes paid vacation and personal days, flexible benefits, mental health resources, access to perks and discounts, professional development support, and team-building and social events.

Compensation is determined based on several factors, including relevant experience, total years of experience, industry experience, education, and professional designations. We recognize that exceptional talent doesn’t always fit neatly into a bracket. Final compensation will be tailored to your specific experience, skills and the unique value you bring to the table. If your qualifications exceed the scope of this role, we may be open to adjusting the mandate – and the salary – to reflect that expertise.

We look forward to hearing from you, but please note; due to the high volume of applications, only candidates who qualify will be contacted. This position is for an existing vacancy.

Dream Unlimited is committed to workplace diversity and provides accommodations to applicants with disabilities throughout our hiring process. If you require accommodation through any aspect our process, please let us know and we will work with you to meet your needs. Our recruitment process may include the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) during the screening process.
