Job Opportunity

(LOCATION) is a proud member of Drive Auto Group and is currently seeking a Parts Advisor to join our growing team. The Parts Advisor will be customer facing and need to have a welcoming smile and pro-active approach to provide memorable services to our guests.

Responsibilities

Promptly meeting and greeting parts customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
Supplying parts and accessories to retail customers.
Efficiently providing parts to Technicians for vehicle repair and maintenance.
Listening to customers’ reasons for requesting certain parts and accessories.
Offering appropriate parts or accessories to satisfy customer requirements.
Providing accurate quotes for all parts or accessories recommended.
Answering incoming telephone calls promptly and courteously.
Shipping and receiving parts.
Assisting with merchandising displays.
Receiving payment or obtain credit authorization.
Performing other tasks as required by management.

Experience/ Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid Ontario driver’s license and clean drivers abstract.
Excellent interpersonal skills with an engaging attitude.
Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service.
Ability to manager customer complaints and resolve conflicts.
Organized and strong attention to detail.
Ability to follow standard procedures.
Flexible and open to change; take on special tasks as needed.
Ability to work independently and take initiative.

Responsibilities

Greet parts customers, understand their needs, recommend and supply appropriate parts and accessories, and provide accurate quotes while delivering courteous service. Supply parts to technicians, handle calls, shipping and receiving, merchandising, and payment authorization, and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

A high school diploma or equivalent and a valid Ontario driver’s license with a clean driving record are required. Candidates should have strong interpersonal and customer service skills, be organized and detail-oriented, work well independently and as part of a team, and be able to resolve complaints and adapt to changing tasks.
