About the Company - The leading outsourced corporate secretarial services for regulatory bodies filing in Canada. DSA Corporate Services Inc. (DSA) delivers tailored outsourced corporate secretarial solutions for small to midsized private companies and public reporting issuers. Our services are designed to precisely meet your organization’s governance requirements.

About the Role - The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the continuous disclosure deadlines and compliance requirements for Canadian public issuer client companies. This position works in a team-oriented corporate governance environment. Under the supervision of DSA’s Managing Director, the duties and responsibilities of the Regulatory Compliance Analyst include, but are not limited to, the following:

Provides project or program support to a functional group or business process by relying on their expert knowledge of compliance regulatory systems such as SEDAR+, SEDI, OTC, OSC and others.
Monitors program/project/system status and timetables.
Applies knowledge of and experience in company operations to assist in the development, implementation and administration of program/system guidelines and procedures.
Gathers and compiles accurate information for reports.
Provides technical support, which may include program/system training, program/system documentation, data extraction, data review, and tracking.
Acts as a subject matter expert on compliance rules and regulations
Receives and processes compliance approval requests and provides proper documentation/communication for internal/external requests in a timely fashion and following a set compliance process.
Be available to respond to occasional requests outside of assigned work hours.
Work extended hours in office when required.
Play a role in developing and updating necessary compliance tools and supporting various compliance initiatives or projects
Involved in continuous process improvement.

Qualifications - Must Have: Minimum Requirements

Requires full job knowledge of systems and procedures obtained through prior work experience or education.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
Strong knowledge with regulatory systems such as SEDAR+, SEDI, EDGAR, CSE and TSX/TSX-V.
Excellent organizational skills and problem-solving skills - capacity to manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously; ability to work under pressure.
Interpersonal skills: exceptional verbal/written communication, listening, professional demeanor, excellent attention to detail.
Ability to interface directly with demanding business clients.
Highly self-motivated contributor who works autonomously but has the interpersonal skills to liaise with both internal and external clients.
Superior knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite more particularly Excel

Educational Requirements

University degree or equivalent certification; or
Law Clerk, Law Associates, Paralegal diploma/degree, or Regulatory Compliance certification; and
Background and/or education in the field of Canadian Securities Regulation and Canadian Regulatory Compliance
