Role Description The Marketing Manager is a part-time, on-site role based in Richmond, BC. This role is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that promote DSG Mouldings’ products and brand across digital and traditional channels. Day-to-day tasks include managing social media accounts (e.g., Instagram and Facebook), coordinating content creation, overseeing campaigns, and analyzing performance metrics to improve reach and engagement. The Marketing Manager will collaborate with leadership, Customer Service, and R&D teams to create marketing materials that highlight product features, innovation, and project applications. Additional responsibilities include managing the marketing calendar, supporting trade shows or industry events, and maintaining consistent brand messaging across all communications.
Qualifications
- Experience in marketing strategy and planning, including campaign development and brand positioning.
- Skills in digital marketing, social media management, and online advertising (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, and website content updates).
- Strong content creation abilities, including copywriting, basic graphic design coordination, and storytelling for product-focused marketing.
- Ability to analyze marketing data, track performance metrics, and prepare reports to guide decision-making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across operations, Customer Service, and R&D teams.
- Organizational and project management skills to handle multiple campaigns and priorities in a part-time capacity.
- Previous experience in construction, manufacturing, architecture, or building materials marketing is an asset.
- Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Proficiency with common marketing tools and platforms (e.g., social media schedulers, email marketing tools, basic CRM usage).
