\nWe are Dulcedo

At Dulcedo, talent management is not about volume - it’s about strategy, structure, and long-term vision. We are a full-service talent management agency specializing in the representation of creators, influencers, athletes, models, and entertainment talent across North America and internationally.Our mission is to build scalable, sustainable careers for our talent while delivering white-glove service to the brands and partners who collaborate with them. We believe in strong systems, thoughtful recruitment, and intentional growth, not short-term wins or reactive hiring.

Dulcedo is the largest multidisciplinary talent management group in Canada and a recognized leader across the US and North American markets. We manage the global careers of 500+ models, hundreds of Olympic and professional athletes, and a growing roster of top-tier digital creators, influencers, and streamers. With offices in Montreal and Toronto and an extensive network across Los Angeles, New York, Miami, and beyond, Dulcedo operates at the intersection of talent, culture, and entertainment.

At the core of Dulcedo’s values and recruitment process is a strong commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Our current workforce is a celebration of diverse ethnic backgrounds, races, gender identities, sexual orientations, abilities, and lived experiences. Our continued mission is to recruit, support, and grow talent in a way that ensures equal opportunities for all applicants.

Above all, Dulcedo is a people-first organization. Our team is made up of ambitious, collaborative, and high-performing individuals who care deeply about culture, integrity, and impact. Proudly certified as a Great Place to Work, we foster an environment where people are empowered to grow, challenge themselves, and do meaningful work alongside industry-leading talent.

The Role At A Glance

At Dulcedo, every campaign, every booking, every brand partnership becomes an invoice. Accounts Receivable is where that work turns into cash.

As Senior Accounts Receivable Technician, you run the day-to-day of that function. Invoices go out accurately and on time, payments come in and are posted where they belong, the ledger reconciles, and clients with an outstanding balance hear from us in the right tone at the right moment. You are the person who makes all of that happen, consistently.

It is a hands-on seat. You lead a team of AR clerks, set their priorities, review their work and grow their skills. You own the collections calendar and the aging report, resolve billing disputes before they harden, and produce the reporting Finance leadership relies on to read the health of receivables.

You also carry a mandate to leave the function better than you found it: tighter processes, clearer credit procedures, and more of the manual work handed over to NetSuite and automation. Days Sales Outstanding is the number that tells us whether it is working.

You will work closely with Finance, Agents, Talent Management and Operations, and directly with the finance contacts on the client side. We are looking for someone with solid accounting fundamentals, a steady hand with people on both sides of the invoice, and the discipline to run a tight, reliable operation.

Your Role In Action

Operations Quarterback: You own the daily running of the AR department, from invoicing and collections to cash application, reconciliations and record-keeping, done accurately and on schedule.
Collections Driver: You keep outstanding balances moving through reminders, follow-ups and direct conversations with clients, bringing DSO down and keeping delinquencies rare.
Credit Steward: You implement credit policies and procedures, apply limits and terms, and run credit checks on new clients so that timely payment and client retention stay in balance.
Ledger Guardian: You reconcile the accounts receivable ledger, verify discrepancies and make sure every payment is accounted for and properly posted.
Dispute Resolver: You handle billing disputes with clients directly and professionally, protecting the relationship while protecting the receivable.
Reporting Owner: You generate the statements and reports on AR status and track the indicators that matter: DSO, aging, collection effectiveness, bad debt to sales, dispute rate.
Process Refiner: You review AR processes and policies, find the friction and remove it, keeping the function efficient and compliant with internal standards and external regulations.
Automation Advocate: You bring technology into the workflow, automating invoicing, reminders and collection steps wherever a system does the job better than a person.
Cross-Team Partner: You coordinate with Agents, Talent Management and Operations to keep billing accurate and resolve the operational issues that slow payment down.
Risk Manager: You identify and mitigate credit and collection risk across the client base before it reaches the aging report.
Trend Reader: You analyze the patterns in receivables and bring forward recommendations that reduce outstanding balances and improve profitability.

What You’re Bringing With You

6+ years of experience in accounts receivable, collections or accounting operations;
A thorough grounding in accounting principles, backed by a diploma or degree in accounting, finance or a related field;
Hands-on command of the full AR cycle: invoicing, collections, cash application, reconciliations and dispute resolution;
Working knowledge of credit procedures: credit checks, limits and payment terms, and how to apply them without losing the client;
Fluency in an ERP; hands-on NetSuite experience is a strong asset, since it is the system this function runs on;
Comfort with AR metrics and reporting (DSO, aging, CEI, bad debt to sales) and the Excel skills to build and explain them;
Excellent written and spoken communication, with the tact to handle a past-due account and keep the relationship intact;
Serious organizational discipline: several deadlines in motion at once, none of them dropped;
Professional fluency in English; French is a strong asset for our Montreal office;
Experience in a talent agency, entertainment, media, advertising, creative or similar industry is an asset.

Soft Skills & Dulcedo DNA

At Dulcedo, we look for more than just a CV - we look for energy.
You’re known for your initiative, curiosity, and genuine drive to make things happen.
Your positive attitude, collaborative spirit, and the way you uplift those around you are contagious.
You thrive on new challenges, stay calm under pressure, and love the pace and excitement of a dynamic environment.
You’re a true self-starter - passionate, gritty, and goal-oriented, someone who loves having projects, challenges, and milestones to work toward.
In short, you’re driven, creative, and structured, someone who knows how to balance discipline, fun, and performance - 3 core pillars of Dulcedo’s culture.
