- Select appropriate paint or mix paints
- Tend automatic metal coating machines which convey objects through a series of cleaning, rinsing and plating solutions
- Tend or operate equipment to prepare items for application of protective or decorative coatings
- Tend or operate equipment to spray or coat
- Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)

Responsibilities
Prepare metal products for protective or decorative coatings, select and mix paints or metallizing solutions, and operate coating, plating, and spray equipment. Clean and maintain the work area and equipment, organize inventory, and apply stencils, decals, or other decorative finishes.
Requirements
Requires a secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience and 1 to less than 2 years of experience. Candidates should be organized, reliable team players who can perform physically demanding work involving attention to detail, coordination, and extended periods of standing.
