Inside Sales Representative – Business Development (Lethbridge, AB)

We’re looking for a motivated Inside Sales Representative to join our Lethbridge team. This isn’t strictly an inbound sales role. While approximately 75% of your time will focus on Inside Sales and customer support, about 25% will be dedicated to proactive prospecting and business development, creating new relationships and building your own book of business.

What You’ll Do

Manage inbound sales inquiries and convert opportunities into sales.
Prepare quotes, pricing and sales orders while providing knowledgeable product support.
Support showroom customers and help identify the right solutions for their projects.
Proactively prospect for new business through outbound calls, emails, networking and lead follow-up.
Identify and qualify new sales opportunities and develop your own book of business over time.
Build relationships with builders, contractors, trade professionals and other potential customers.
Follow up on leads, quotes and existing opportunities to help move business forward.
Work closely with the Outside Sales team to support regional sales growth.
Maintain accurate customer, sales and order information in company systems.
Provide proactive after-sales support and help resolve customer questions or concerns.

What You Bring

Previous sales experience with a combination of customer service and business development.
Confidence making outbound calls and approaching prospective customers.
A proactive, self-motivated approach - you’re comfortable creating opportunities rather than waiting for them.
Strong relationship-building, communication and listening skills.
Ability to manage multiple customers, leads and priorities.
Comfortable learning technical products, quoting processes and sales systems.
Strong computer skills and attention to detail.
Construction, building materials, windows and doors, or related industry experience is an asset, not a requirement. We’re willing to train the right salesperson.
