DynaIndustrial Saskatoon is one of Saskatchewan's leading custom machine shops and steel fabricators, producing specialized equipment and components for customers across North America and around the world. Our work supports the mining, steel, pipe mill, and oil & gas industries, with projects ranging from large equipment rebuilds to complex custom-manufactured components.

We're growing and looking for a couple experienced Machinists – Horizontal Boring Mill Operators to join our team.

This is an opportunity to work on large, challenging, one-of-a-kind components - not repetitive production work. If you take pride in precision machining, enjoy solving complex setups, and want to be part of a team that values craftsmanship and quality, we'd like to hear from you.

What You'll Do

  • Set up and operate large Horizontal Boring Mills (manual and/or CNC).
  • Machine large industrial components and custom-built equipment to precise tolerances.
  • Interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and machining specifications.
  • Select tooling, fixtures, and machining strategies to maximize efficiency and quality.
  • Verify dimensions and tolerances using precision measuring instruments.
  • Perform machine maintenance and troubleshoot machining issues as required.
  • Work closely with engineers, welders, fabricators, and fellow machinists to complete projects successfully.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and quality-focused work environment.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of machining experience, preferably operating Horizontal Boring Mills.
  • Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling, setups, feeds, speeds, and blueprint reading.
  • Experience machining large components and heavy industrial parts.
  • Experience operating overhead cranes is considered a strong asset.
  • Ability to work independently and solve complex machining challenges.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Positive attitude and desire to continually learn and improve.

Journeyperson Machinists are encouraged to apply, however equivalent experience will also be considered.

Why DynaIndustrial?

  • Competitive wages with opportunities for overtime
  • Matching RRSP contribution program
  • Comprehensive benefits package
  • Regular performance and career development discussions
  • Advancement opportunities within a growing company
  • Stable, long-term employment
  • Work-life balance focused culture
  • Modern equipment and challenging projects
  • Team-oriented environment with experienced tradespeople
  • Opportunity to machine some of the largest and most complex components in Saskatchewan

At DynaIndustrial, your work matters. The components you machine help keep mines operating, steel mills running, and critical industrial infrastructure moving.
