- Analyze customer demand patterns, forecast changes, and booking trends to anticipate future requirements and identify risks and opportunities.
- Collaborate with customers, Program Managers, Sales, and Operations teams to improve demand visibility and forecast accuracy.
- Monitor forecast-to-actual performance and provide trend analysis, recommendations, and risk assessments to support business planning.
Master Production Scheduling (MPS)
- Develop, load, and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) within the ERP/MRP system to support SMT and downstream manufacturing operations.
- Balance customer demand, production capacity, material availability, labor, and equipment constraints to develop achievable production plans.
- Monitor schedule adherence and drive corrective actions to address production variances, capacity issues, and delivery risks.
- Ensure production schedules support customer commitments while optimizing throughput, efficiency, and resource utilization.
SIOP Leadership & Operational Planning
- Lead and facilitate the Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) process, ensuring alignment between customer demand forecasts and operational capabilities.
- Coordinate monthly demand, supply, and executive review meetings with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Develop capacity plans and scenario analyses to support strategic decision-making and customer growth initiatives.
- Provide visibility of demand and supply risks, recommending mitigation plans to maintain service levels and operational efficiency.
ERP/MRP Planning & Supply Chain Coordination
- Maintain planning data integrity within ERP/MRP systems to ensure accurate demand, supply, and scheduling outputs.
- Analyze MRP recommendations and collaborate with Supply Chain teams to mitigate material shortages, excess inventory, and long-lead component risks.
- Coordinate material requirements, production resources, tooling, equipment, and manpower to support production schedules.
- Provide management with timely updates regarding demand fluctuations, capacity constraints, material availability, and schedule risks.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Communication
