What You’ll Do
You will be the expert in ensuring, in a safe and efficient manner, the preparation and delivery of bulk products to clients. These tasks must be done in compliance with the site’s HSE process and regulations. The bulk truck operator reports to the site’s supervisor and is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the delivery trucks. Packaged products deliveries are also done to support the client’s needs in regard to open pit blasting operations. Other duties will include:

What You’ll Do

The bulk truck operator reports to the site’s supervisor and is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the delivery trucks. Packaged products deliveries are also done to support the client’s needs in regard to open pit blasting operations. Other duties will include:
- Ensure the safe delivery of bulk explosives to the customer.
- Load, deliver and unload bulk explosives products to the customer’s requirements
- Load, deliver and unload packaged products to the customer’s requirements
- Operate bulk products delivery equipment
- Ensure and maintain the quality level of bulk explosive products while making mixtures following company’s instructions and specifications
- Ensure customers are satisfied with products and services
- Participate in the maintenance and repair of the company’s facilities, vehicles and equipment.
- Keep accurate reports of products used in each borehole
- Variable work day. The bulk truck operator could be asked, on occasion, to work on statutory holidays. Over time can be requested.
- High school diploma or the equivalent.
- DZ or AZ Driver’s license
- Mechanical skills
- Must be able to work outside in varying weather conditions
- Interpersonal and customer service skills
- Good physical condition

Responsibilities
Safely prepare, load, transport, and unload bulk explosives and packaged products according to customer requirements and site HSE procedures. Operate and maintain delivery trucks and equipment, ensure product quality, keep accurate borehole usage records, and assist with facility and equipment maintenance.
Requirements
Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a DZ or AZ driver's license. The role also requires mechanical ability, physical fitness, comfort working outdoors in varying weather, and strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
