We’re hiring a 3rd or 4th year Apprentice Electrician to join our commercial construction team at E1 Electrical Ltd.

Our work includes tenant improvements, new builds, and commercial renovations across Calgary and the surrounding area. This is a great opportunity to take on more responsibility, round out your experience on the way to your journeyperson ticket, and be part of a crew that takes pride in doing things right.

If you’re reliable, take ownership of your work, and are ready to step up on site, you’ll fit in well here.

The Role

· Install conduit, wiring, lighting, and devices on commercial tenant fit-outs, renovations, and new builds

· Install and terminate panels, transformers, and other distribution equipment

· Rough-in, install, and verify fire alarm devices and wiring

· 3rd years: take on assigned tasks with less direct supervision and regular check-ins from your journeyperson

· 4th years: complete work you’re qualified on without supervision

· Work from drawings, panel schedules, and layouts, and help direct junior apprentices

· Follow all safety procedures on site and keep a clean, organized work area

What We’re Looking For

· Registered 3rd or 4th year apprentice

· Experience in commercial tenant fit-out work

· Hands-on experience with panels, transformers, and distribution equipment

· Fire alarm installation experience

· Able to read drawings and apply the CE Code

· Reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented with strong attention to safety

· Safety tickets (WHMIS, CSTS, Fall Arrest, AWP, First Aid) are assets but not required

Pay & Benefits

· $29.40/hr to $33.60/hr depending on level

· 10% vacation + stat pay paid on every hour

· Full-time, permanent work

· Health and dental benefits

· Ongoing training and support to complete your apprenticeship

· Tuition reimbursement for schooling

· Clear path to a journeyperson role with our team
