For nearly four decades, we have helped mission-driven organizations acquire and retain donors through data-informed direct-response television, digital media, analytics, creative, and sustainer growth strategies, helping them raise millions of dollars for the causes they serve.
As we continue to grow, we are seeking a proactive Systems & Security Administrator to help strengthen our technology operations, improve our security posture, and support modernization initiatives across a hybrid workforce.
Position Overview
The Systems & Security Administrator will play a critical, hands-on role in maintaining, securing, and improving Eaglecom's technology environment. This role combines systems administration, endpoint management, security operations, infrastructure support, end-user support, and project execution.
The successful candidate will strengthen operational resilience and help lead initiatives, including endpoint management, vulnerability management, mobile device security, AI administration and governance, and secure technology practices.
We expect approximately 20% of the role to focus on end-user support and 80% on systems, security, and project work.
Key Responsibilities
Systems Administration
- Administer Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and Entra ID.
- Manage user lifecycle processes, including onboarding, offboarding, MFA, permissions, and access reviews.
- Assist with the administration of Azure resources, cloud services, on-premises infrastructure, backup systems, and business-critical platforms.
- Maintain accurate IT documentation, procedures, asset inventories, and operational runbooks.
Security Operations
- Monitor and respond to endpoint security alerts and suspicious activity.
- Support vulnerability scanning, risk review, remediation tracking, and recurring security improvement activities.
- Assist with firewall administration, security monitoring, rule review, and remediation of security assessment findings.
- Support implementation of security policies, endpoint protection standards, BYOD controls, and compliance readiness activities.
Endpoint & Device Management
- Support Microsoft Intune enrollment, device compliance, configuration profiles, security baselines, and software deployment.
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows laptops, mobile devices, video-editing workstations, peripherals, and conferencing equipment.
- Maintain hardware lifecycle records and coordinate device procurement, replacement, and secure disposal.
Infrastructure & Vendor Support
- Assist with network, firewall, VPN, backup, server, conferencing, and audiovisual infrastructure support.
- Coordinate with vendors, development partners, managed service providers, and external consultants.
- Participate in technology projects, including cloud administration, automation, AI governance support, and business system improvements.
AI Administration & Governance
- Administer enterprise AI platforms, including Microsoft 365 Copilot and Claude, covering licensing, user provisioning, access controls, integrations, and usage monitoring.
- Configure data-protection controls for AI tools, including sensitivity labels, data loss prevention policies, and SharePoint/OneDrive permission reviews to prevent oversharing of confidential or client data.
- Support AI governance by helping maintain acceptable-use policies, approved-tool standards, risk reviews of new AI tools, and alignment with client data-handling obligations.
- Provide guidance and training to employees on secure, effective use of AI tools.
End-User Support
- Provide professional Tier 1 and Tier 2 support to employees in Canada and the United States.
- Troubleshoot Microsoft 365, endpoint, connectivity, authentication, application, and conferencing issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications

- Strong Microsoft 365 administration experience, including Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, Windows endpoint management, device compliance, and software deployment.
- Experience supporting endpoint security tools, MFA, access controls, and security best practices.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, switching, and firewalls.
- Ability to identify and resolve the root causes of issues across identity, endpoints, cloud services, networking, and user applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including clear documentation and operating procedures.
- Sound prioritization skills and a customer-service mindset.
- Self-motivated and eager to learn new technologies, including emerging AI tools, with the judgment to work independently and escalate risk, security, or business-impacting issues.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Azure administration, backup platforms, or hybrid cloud environments.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) administration, including but not limited to IAM, BigQuery, and Google Cloud security controls and networking.
- Experience administering Microsoft 365 Copilot, Claude, or other enterprise AI platforms.
- Experience with vulnerability management, penetration-test remediation, firewall review, or security audit support.
- Experience supporting hybrid or remote workforces across Canada and the United States.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as PIPEDA, SOC 2, or ISO 27001.
- Familiarity with AI compliance and governance, including responsible use of generative AI tools and data-handling controls for AI platforms.
- Relevant certifications such as Security+, Network+, Microsoft SC-900, SC-300, SC-200, MD-102, AZ-104, Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer, or equivalent experience.
