About Easywell Consumer Products

Easywell Consumer Products is a Canadian company involved in the distribution and wholesale of cooking oils and other food products. We serve wholesale and retail customers and are focused on expanding our market presence, developing strong customer relationships and growing our business.

We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Wholesale Account Representative to join our sales team and help drive our next stage of growth.

Position Overview

The Wholesale Account Representative will be responsible for developing new wholesale and retail business, acquiring new customers and growing sales within the Greater Toronto Area.

This role is particularly focused on new business development. The successful candidate will identify prospective customers, build strong business relationships, introduce our product portfolio and convert opportunities into long-term customer accounts.

The ideal candidate is commercially minded, proactive, confident in negotiating with business customers and motivated by achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

New Business Development

Identify, prospect and acquire new wholesale and retail customers within the assigned territory.
Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective business accounts.
Initiate contact with potential customers through calls, emails, meetings and in-person visits.
Present Easywell's cooking oil products, pricing and value proposition to prospective customers.
Negotiate commercial terms and close new customer accounts.

Account Management and Sales Growth

Manage and develop assigned wholesale and retail accounts.
Build strong relationships with customers and identify opportunities to increase sales volume and product range.
Support customer retention and provide responsive service.
Coordinate with internal operations, credit and customer service teams to resolve order, delivery and account-related issues.

Sales Planning and Reporting

Work toward assigned sales objectives and annual sales targets.
Develop sales forecasts and maintain an active prospecting and customer call schedule.
Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts and account updates.
Maintain accurate customer information, sales activities and account records in the company's CRM system.
Attend customer meetings, trade shows and industry events as required.

Qualifications and Skills

Experience in wholesale sales, business development or account management.
Strong prospecting, negotiation and closing skills.
Ability to identify new business opportunities and convert prospects into customers.
Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
Strong commercial awareness and ability to understand customer needs.
Self-motivated, organized and results oriented.
Comfortable working toward sales targets and performance objectives.
Valid driver's licence and ability to travel within the GTA.

Experience in the food, beverage, grocery, consumer packaged goods (CPG) or wholesale distribution industry would be an asset.

Compensation and Benefits

Base Salary: $50,000 - 60,000 per annum
Automobile Allowance
Communication Allowance
Commission: Additional commission opportunity based on qualifying initial orders from new customers, subject to the company's commission plan.
Performance Bonus: Eligible for an annual performance bonus based on achievement of the applicable annual sales target.
Benefits: Eligibility to participate in the company's group benefits program
