Original job description

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will lead the design and development of next-generation Coolant Distribution Units (CDUs) that power AI, high-performance computing, and data center applications. Working across the full product lifecycle, from concept development through production launch, you will apply expertise in thermal systems, fluid mechanics, and mechanical design to create innovative, reliable, and highly manufacturable cooling solutions.

What's in it For You

  • Day 1 Coverage: Employer-paid comprehensive benefits, including dental, prescription drug, vision, paramedical coverage, and a $1,000 annual Health Spending Account.
  • RRSP: 2% employer-sponsored contribution.
  • Three weeks of vacation, six flex days, and a one-week company-wide holiday shutdown.
  • $1,000 annual professional development allowance.
  • Dress for your day in a casual, professional environment.
  • Opportunity to develop industry-leading cooling technologies for the world's most advanced computing environments.

What You Will Do

  • Lead the design and development of Coolant Distribution Units (CDUs) through the full New Product Introduction (NPI) lifecycle.
  • Develop and evaluate new concepts through feasibility studies, prototyping, testing, and validation activities.
  • Perform detailed mechanical design and engineering calculations related to thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and fluid systems.
  • Create and maintain CAD models, engineering drawings, technical reports, and design documentation.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, customers, and industry partners to deliver innovative products on schedule.
  • Conduct design reviews and provide technical approval of engineering documentation.
  • Support product certification, validation testing, and production readiness activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance product performance, reliability, manufacturability, and cost effectiveness.
  • Contribute to engineering standards, best practices, and emerging liquid cooling technologies.
