We are a market-leading independent power producer and service provider, serving utilities, corporations, industries, communities, institutions, and investors with reliable, low-carbon energy solutions that help meet growing demand.

From developing and building scalable wind (onshore and offshore), solar, storage (battery and pumped storage hydro), smart EV charging, microgrids, green hydrogen, and transmission projects, to maximizing performance and profitability through skilled operations and maintenance and innovative asset optimization, our teams deliver expert solutions along the entire value chain - from origination to commercial operation.

Be a part of an innovative and collaborative team environment that fosters our goal of delivering renewable solutions to lead the transition to a sustainable energy future.

Other tasks as required.

Goals of Internship:

Learning how to create a business case for a project, supporting analysis using financial tools, and how to successfully position a potential project for management approval.
Learning about the issues that arise during development, how to formulate arguments to the community that maintains support for EDFps’ projects.
Learning who are the players in the renewable energy space and understanding differentiators between the players and strategy for why they are developing in certain areas.
Becoming familiar with the intersection of land availability, interconnection availability and community support to find new sites for developing wind, solar and energy storage facilities.
Becoming familiar with land use practices, what it means for society, the economy, food and energy security.
Learning the multitude of tasks that go into project development, and how EDFps’ teams work together, both with internal stakeholders and external consultants to navigate the development project phase.

Skills to Acquire:
