Get in early and help build it

EduSight is an AI company working on two questions that matter to every institution: how people find you, and how you keep them engaged once they do.

We help colleges and universities show up where students now search, inside AI answer engines like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity. Then our AI engagement tools turn that interest into enrolled students. Higher education is our proving ground. We're now taking the platform into new industry verticals, and we need someone to help lead that push.

This isn't a seat on a 50-person SDR floor with a script and a dialer. You'll be one of the first people on the growth team. Your work will decide who we sell to, how we pitch, and which markets we open next. When we get it right, you'll have helped build the playbook, the pipeline and the team.

What you'll do

Build pipeline from scratch. Research, prospect and open conversations with decision-makers at higher-ed institutions and in new target verticals, using outbound email, LinkedIn, phone and events.
Sell something new. Explain AI search visibility and AI engagement in plain terms to leaders who are just starting to see how AI is changing the way people discover and choose them.
Open new markets. Test messaging, spot patterns and bring back what you learn about which industries and buyer profiles respond best as we expand past education.
Qualify with rigor. Run discovery calls, work out real pain and fit, and hand warm, well-qualified opportunities to our closing team and founders.
Shape the playbook. Help write the sequences, talk tracks, objection handling and CRM processes the next hires will use.
Work directly with leadership. Partner with the CEO and the sales team on strategy, key accounts and go-to-market experiments.

What we're looking for

A proven record in sales or business development, ideally 3+ years in B2B SaaS, technology or services, with results you can point to: pipeline built, meetings booked, quotas hit.
Real outbound skill. You know how to find the right person, get their attention and earn a meeting without a big brand behind you.
Comfort with ambiguity. You'd rather build the process than follow one, and you do well where priorities move quickly.
Curiosity about AI. You don't need to be an engineer, but you should be excited to understand the technology well enough to talk about it with confidence.
Strong communication. Your writing is clear and sharp, you listen well and you can hold your own with senior stakeholders.
Ownership. You treat your territory like your own business.

Bonus points for:

Experience selling into higher education, enrollment, marketing or EdTech
Experience with MarTech, SEO/AEO or AI products
Hands-on use of HubSpot, Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar tools
Startup experience, especially as an early sales hire
