Join our Operations Optimization & Enablement team, where you'll play a critical role in driving business initiatives, improving operational processes, and bringing innovative solutions to life. From managing projects and analyzing data to collaborating with stakeholders across the organization, you'll help shape the tools, systems, and experiences that support our business today and into the future.
Responsibility Summary
- Support the development of business cases by gathering requirements, conducting analysis, evaluating costs and benefits, and preparing materials to support decision-making and funding approvals for the Operations Optimization & Enablement team.
- Prepare, maintain, and distribute project reporting, dashboards, status updates, and key performance indicators for the Operations Optimization & Enablement team, providing visibility into project progress, risks, dependencies, outcomes, and operational performance.
- Coordinate project financial administration activities, including invoice processing, tracking, reconciliation, budget monitoring, and ensuring expenditures align with approved funding and project objectives for Operations Optimization and Enablement Team.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors, and product partners to facilitate collaboration, issue resolution, and successful project delivery.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute assigned small projects (contribute to medium sized projects), process improvements, and business initiatives, including the launch of new products, product partners, and enhancements to existing tools and systems.
- Manage project plans, timelines, deliverables, documentation, and stakeholder communications to ensure successful execution and alignment with business objectives.
- Serve as a key contact for business requirement gathering, validation, user acceptance testing, and stakeholder escalations related to new products, tools, systems, and operational processes.
- Lead and coordinate the testing, implementation, and post-implementation support of system enhancements and upgrades, including issue identification, tracking, resolution, and escalation management.
- Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis of business and operational data to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and process improvement initiatives, partnering with Analytics and other business teams as required.
- Support the adoption and execution of risk management and control processes, including Privacy, Business Continuity Planning, Records Information Management, and Written Supervisory Procedures, while coordinating required activities across departments.
- Develop and maintain subject matter expertise in assigned products, operational processes, and business functions, acting as a resource to stakeholders and team members.
- Share knowledge, best practices, and process improvements to support team development and operational effectiveness.
- Lead or participate in internal strategic initiatives, cross-functional working groups, and industry committees as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- 5+ years of financial services experience, including project coordination or leadership experience.
- Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification.
- Project Management certification (PMP, CAPM, or equivalent) preferred.
- Knowledge of Broadridge, CDS, FundSERV, DTC, Insurance CITS, and related operational systems is an asset.
- CSC and other industry designations considered assets.
