POSITION: Wash Line Operator - New
STATUS: Full-Time; Weekends
SHIFT: Saturday and Sunday 7:00am - 7:00pm, with one 8 hour shift during the week

POSITION OVERVIEW:
Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Wash Line Operator will primarily be responsible for monitoring processing lines, performing frequent quality checks on products as well as assisting with some mechanical repairs. They will also participate in continuous quality improvement projects.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous experience working in manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Mechanical, equipment and process knowledge.
- Forklift, Health & Safety, and First Aid certificate.
- Positive attitude and engaged in work.
- Open and adaptable to daily feedback on performance.
- Able to plan, prioritize and organize multiple tasks.
- Reliable, consistent attendance, punctual and dependable
- Monitor fully automated processing lines.
- Perform frequent quality checks on products.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement projects.
- Assist with some mechanical repairs.
- Maintain work area to acceptable safety and housekeeping standards.
- Notify the shift lead or management with any equipment related issues.
- Assist in the training of new operators.
- Additional duties as assigned.

Responsibilities
Monitor automated processing lines, conduct frequent product quality checks, and assist with mechanical repairs and continuous quality improvement projects. Maintain a safe, orderly work area, report equipment issues, and help train new operators.
Requirements
Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting and knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and processes are required.
