About Calgary

Calgary is the largest city in Alberta, with a population of 1.5 million people located approximately 60-90 minutes east of the Canadian Rocky Mountains. Calgary was recently voted one of the most livable cities in the world and has one of the most affordable costs of living in Canada.

Outdoor sport and nature enthusiasts can find themselves in breathtaking mountain scenery less than an hour drive from the city. Calgary is one of the sunniest cities in Canada and our winters are broken up by warm, dry Chinook winds that routinely blow into the city from over the mountains during the winter months.
