About the Role

As an Intermediate Application Support Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting critical Business Intelligence applications and services that help deliver healthcare across Saskatchewan. You will troubleshoot and resolve application issues, monitor system performance, and collaborate with technical teams to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient systems. This role is ideal for a problem solver who enjoys working in a complex, integrated environment and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service while supporting technology that contributes to better patient care.

What You’ll Do

Reporting to the Manager, Analytics Infrastructure, you will:

Support Business Intelligence applications and services through the delivery of effective application support and technical solutions.
Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve application, system, and transaction issues in a complex integrated environment.
Monitor production systems to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and availability.
Evaluate software upgrades, patches, and new releases, assessing impacts on individual and integrated applications.
Conduct root cause analysis and recommend improvements to enhance system effectiveness and efficiency.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, procedures, requirements, and project-related materials.
Be willing to participate in an on-call 24/7 support strategy. This requires a rotation of support analysts to be available to respond to priority emergency service disruptions after hours.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Minimum 3 years of experience as an Application Support Analyst or a similar role within an integrated support environment.
Experience with application support, solution design, unit testing, and root cause analysis.
Knowledge of relational databases, database development concepts, scripting, and programming principles.
Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Informatica IDMC, SQL Server, Oracle, or other Business Intelligence technologies.
Experience supporting enterprise-scale analytics platforms, administering Microsoft Fabric tenant settings and integrating Fabric with GitHub is considered an asset.

Analytical: Ability to interpret and synthesize complex technical information into actionable insights that support organizational needs

Technical: Ability to design, test, implement or adapt existing systems and applications in an integrated environment considering design alternatives, business requirements, system impacts and cost, resource and time constraints.
