Original job description

Launch Your Professional Career at Elby

Are you a recent or upcoming graduate eager to break into the professional business world, learn how high-growth companies operate, and pave your own path into Recruitment or B2B Sales?

At Elby, we don’t believe in putting ambition in a box. This role is designed as an operational command center and career launchpad. By partnering directly with our Managing Directors, Account Executives, and Talent Recruiters, you will gain hands-on visibility into the entire recruiting and sales lifecycle - from lead generation and client contract execution to talent onboarding and revenue tracking.

For high performers, this position offers a defined pathway into specialized career tracks:

Recruitment Career Track: Graduate into a Candidate Sourcing / Talent Acquisition Specialist role, identifying and placing top-tier talent.
B2B Sales Career Track: Graduate into a Business Development Representative (BDR) / Account Manager role, driving new client partnerships and revenue.

If you bring energy, curiosity, and strong organizational chops, we will provide the mentorship, industry exposure, and commercial foundation to help you build a high-trajectory career.

Responsibilities:

Talent Delivery & Client Operations

Support both our Client Services (Sales) and Recruitment Services teams through candidate assessment coordination, background checks, and client fee agreements.
Manage temporary and contract placement workflows via People2.0, serving as an operational liaison for candidates on assignment and resolving onboarding or payroll questions.
Maintain data integrity and pipeline reporting in Bullhorn CRM/ATS, pulling weekly open-order and ad-call reports that guide strategic team decisions.
Assist in organizing Elby’s presence at campus networking sessions, career fairs, and industry events.

Business Administration & Financial Coordination

Manage client invoicing workflows, update billing tracking spreadsheets, and coordinate with clients on receivable accounts.
Act as the welcoming face and voice of Elby, managing primary communications and directing client and candidate inquiries to the right teams.
Coordinate vendor relationships, supply logistics, and day-to-day facilities/IT support to keep the office running smoothly.

Leadership Support & Culture

Partner directly with Managing Directors and Associate Vice Presidents on calendar management, meeting coordination, and internal communications.
Support the firm's Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) process, tracking action items and quarterly strategic priorities.
Drive team culture by planning quarterly celebrations, recognition initiatives, and client appreciation events.

Qualifications:

Recent or Upcoming Graduate: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business, Commerce, Human Resources, Communications, Marketing, or a related field. Internship or co-op experience in an office environment is a strong asset.
Commercially Driven: Clear interest in launching a long-term career in professional staffing, executive search, or B2B sales.
Self-Starter Mentality: You thrive in an energetic, collaborative environment with room to take initiative, streamline processes, and share new ideas.
Detail-Oriented & Dependable: Excellent time-management skills with the discipline to juggle multiple operational deadlines without dropping the ball.
Tech-Savvy Communicator: Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable navigating Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and excited to master enterprise tools like Bullhorn and People2.0.

Why Build Your Career With Elby?

Direct Executive Mentorship: Work shoulder-to-shoulder with senior leadership and experienced producers who invest directly in your professional development.
Structured Growth Plan: Regular performance touchpoints focused not just on your operational output, but on mapping your transition into a full-cycle Recruitment or Sales role.
High-Energy, High-Trust Culture: A dynamic workplace with less red tape, high team camaraderie, quarterly team outings, and an open floor for your ideas.
Comprehensive Benefits & Compensation: Competitive base salary, performance rewards, professional development support, and comprehensive health/dental coverage.
