(Pour visualiser la description de poste en français, veuillez sélectionner le français dans le menu déroulant au haut de la page sous "Select Language".)

Our motive is to create innovative action games within iconic worlds where every player feels like the hero. Let’s say that again - iconic worlds, where every player feels like the hero.

Our passion has taken us from imagining dogfighter pilots in Star Wars™: Squadrons, to re-creating Isaac Clarke onboard the Ishimura in Dead Space™, and now to building an original Iron Man action-adventure video game.

We believe in sharing our passion with our community, and with each other by having transparent discussions, by practicing an inclusive culture, and by nurturing a continuous growth mindset. Our approach feels simple, but it leads to the best work of our careers, and as a team, building unique and immersive experiences.

Motive is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Engine Software Developer with expertise in Unreal Engine 5 to join its Iron Man team. You will report to the Lead Engine Developer and have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and new product development in an innovative and collaborative environment, bringing to life our next AAA title.

Responsibilities:

Develop and optimize our game engine using Unreal Engine 5.

Collaborate with designers and artists to implement their vision in a technologically feasible manner.

Ensure optimal performance of the game on multiple platforms.

Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and technical issues.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the Unreal Engine, including new features and improvements.

Provide technical guidance and assistance to junior team members.

Requirements:

10+ years of experience in a similar position in a video game studio.

Experience developing and shipping a game with Unreal Engine.

Proven experience in software development with C++.

Experience with multi-threaded programming and optimization.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Knowledge of the latest gaming trends, techniques, and technologies, with a desire to constantly grow and learn
