Description & Requirements

Electronic Arts creates next-level entertainment experiences that inspire players and fans around the world. Here, everyone is part of the story. Part of a community that connects across the globe. A place where creativity thrives, new perspectives are invited, and ideas matter. A team where everyone makes play happen.

About Respawn Entertainment

Founded in 2010 by the original creators of the Call of Duty Franchise, Respawn was created with the philosophy that when talented people have creative freedom, they'll make extraordinary games that achieve the unexpected. From our roots as an indie studio to joining the expansive roster of studios at Electronic Arts, this remains our guiding principle. We truly love what we do and want to share our passion with players worldwide. Our shipped titles include critically acclaimed multi-platform games Apex Legends, Titanfall, Titanfall 2, Star Wars™ Jedi: Fallen Order, Star Wars™ Jedi: Survivor and Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond. Join us for the opportunity to create groundbreaking games with some of the best developer talent in the industry. Respawn Entertainment is hiring! Learn more about our studio and values at respawn.com/studio.

Reporting to the Lead Producer, we are looking for an experienced Legends Producer who will embrace our philosophy and share their expertise to help us create an incredible experience for our players. As a Legends Producer on the Apex Legends team, you will be responsible for the development and delivery of our iconic playable characters.

We're picturing someone who can facilitate communication across the team, support cross-functional workflow dependencies, identify and mitigate risks, and be a key component in our team hitting our development goals.

What you'll do...

Own the production planning and execution for the entire Legend development pipeline, ensuring high-quality characters are delivered on schedule and aligned with project goals.
Partner closely with Design, Art, Animation, Narrative, Audio, VFX, and external teams to coordinate dependencies, schedules, reviews, and content delivery milestones.
Drive the end-to-end development process for new Legends, from initial concept and prototyping through to final implementation and post-launch support.
Collaborate with creative and technical leads to ensure the vision for each Legend is maintained while navigating production realities.
Identify production risks related to character scope, technical challenges, and creative iteration, proactively driving solutions to keep development on track.
Develop and maintain production tracking tools, schedules, and reporting mechanisms that provide clear visibility into the status of all upcoming Legends.
Facilitate communication between all internal stakeholders and any external partners to ensure alignment on priorities, deadlines, and quality standards.

Ideally, you will have...
3+ years of production experience in AAA game development, with a strong preference for experience in character, hero, or systems development.
A deep understanding of game development pipelines, particularly the lifecycle of a playable character from concept to release.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with numerous cross-functional dependencies between disciplines like Design, Engineering, Art, Animation, and QA.
Experience in a live service environment, understanding the need for consistent content delivery and post-launch support.
Strong risk management and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of keeping development on schedule.
Experience tracking a large volume of assets and complex feature sets across multiple production stages while balancing quality, scope, and schedule.
A passion for character-driven games, player experience, and the collaborative process of bringing a new character to life for a global audience.
