Working closely with production staff and other trades, you'll help minimize downtime, improve equipment reliability, and support safe, efficient operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining technical problem-solving with hands-on work and contributing to continuous improvement in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Respond to equipment breakdowns in a timely manner to reduce downtime
Maintain accurate maintenance logs and records of completed work.
Follow all company safety procedures, lockout/tagout, and PPE requirements.
Collaborate with other trades and production staff to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions for increased reliability.
Perform maintenance on facility, machinery and equipment, including scheduled preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs, and component replacement as required.
Troubleshoot equipment to identify and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
Utilize hand tools including meters, grinders, saws, drills and other equipment effectively.
Maintain a clean, organized and efficient workspace
Maintain accurate inventory records for equipment and supplies.
Contribute to the development and implementation of preventative maintenance procedures to enhance equipment longevity and performance.
Perform other duties as assigned.

✅ What You Bring

In-depth knowledge of mechanical automation systems.
Advanced understanding of general maintenance procedures and repair techniques.
Willing and available to work overtime, including weekends, public holidays, and evenings as required.
Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
Proven ability to lead by example with integrity, professionalism, and a strong work ethic.
Ability to quickly identify, troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
Familiarity with lockout/tagout procedures and workplace safety standards.
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing maintenance role.
Basic knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting (additional certifications are an asset).
Experience with CNC and servo systems an asset.

🌟 Why You'll Love This Role

You'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on equipment reliability, production efficiency, and workplace safety. Working closely with production staff and other trades, you'll tackle a variety of maintenance challenges, contribute practical ideas, and see the direct results of your work in keeping operations running smoothly.

We're looking for someone who is resourceful, collaborative, and takes pride in quality workmanship. If you enjoy troubleshooting, working hands-on with equipment, improving maintenance practices, and finding solutions that help prevent future breakdowns, we'd love to hear from you.
