We are seeking an Intermediate Curtainwall Designer to support the design, coordination, and delivery of curtain wall, storefront, skylight, and façade systems for commercial, institutional, and mixed-use projects. What You'll Do
- Develop detailed shop, fabrication, and installation drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Assist in the design and coordination of curtain wall, storefront, skylight, and façade systems.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, project managers, suppliers, and fabrication teams.
- Review architectural and structural drawings to develop practical and cost-effective façade solutions.
- Support project submissions, design documentation, and drawing revisions.
- Participate in BIM coordination and project review meetings.
- Assist with resolving design challenges during fabrication and installation.
- Conduct field measurements and participate in site visits as required.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, design standards, and drawing quality.
What You Bring
- Diploma or Degree in Architectural Technology, Engineering, Architecture, Construction Technology, or a related field.
- 3-7 years of experience in curtain wall, glazing, façade, or building envelope design.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit.
- Knowledge of curtain wall systems, glazing systems, aluminum extrusions, and façade construction practices.
- Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and engineering drawings.
- Experience preparing shop drawings and fabrication documentation.
- Understanding of building codes and industry standards.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with unitized curtain wall systems.
- Familiarity with Inventor, Navisworks, Bluebeam, or other BIM coordination tools.
- Exposure to building envelope performance requirements, including thermal, air, and water performance.
- Experience working with fabrication or installation teams.

Responsibilities
Develop shop, fabrication, and installation drawings and assist with the design and coordination of curtain wall, storefront, skylight, and façade systems. Requirements
