Do you have a heart for children and families?
Ellerslie Road Baptist Church is looking for a part-time Elementary Sunday Coordinator to join the eKids team! In this role, you will fulfill the vision for ekids ministry at the church by coordinating a team of volunteers that lead elementary aged (grades 1-6) in ekids church on Sunday mornings. This job is 12 hrs/week total, with a minimum of 4.5 hours on Sunday mornings.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Personal and growing relationship with Christ
- Minimum Grade 12 education. Experience in ministry or the education field would be helpful
- Demonstrated heart for children and families
- Ability to recruit and inspire a team of volunteers
- Administrative ability, including proficiency in basic computer programs.
- Submit to the ERBC Child and Youth Protection Plan, with Criminal Record Check including Vulnerable Sector Check, and agreement with ERBC’s Affirmation of Faith and Christian Lifestyle Commitment
- Maintain a positive attitude and servants heart regarding your job and the people you serve
