You As a M&E Project Manager - Commissioning Will

Plan the mechanical and electrical components of a construction project and ensure applicable activities fit within the overall project framework.
Chair project M&E meetings, determining the status of the job in terms of scheduling and costing and solve complex technical issues.
Monitor a project's material and labour costs for mechanical and electrical components and assure accurate quality reporting is being conducted.
Lead and manage all commissioning and controls activities, including system integration, functional performance testing, deficiency resolution, and documentation of system performance.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors, and operations teams to ensure building automation systems (BAS), controls sequences, and M&E systems are operating as designed and meet project requirements.
Prepare and implement training programs to ensure successful transition from the construction team to facility management.

Is this the right role for you?

You have an Engineering/Mechanical degree or equivalent combination of technical training.
Mechanical or Electrical Design experience considered an asset.
Experience with commissioning, controls, building automation systems (BAS), system integration, or facility operations is considered a strong asset.
Experienced in the management of projects end to end i.e. scope development, spec development, tendering review and evaluation, managing contractor installation, quality review, commissioning, project closeout, etc.
You have 5 - 7 years of experience in Mechanical and Electrical functions.
Experience leading commissioning activities and validating the performance of mechanical and electrical systems is preferred.
This position is hybrid between Beaverlodge and Edmonton.
