Ellos HR Solutions is recruiting an experienced General Manager for a well established global manufacturing organization in the Greater Toronto Area.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proven manufacturing leader to take ownership of a significant operation within a growing international company.

We are looking for someone who combines strong operational leadership, financial accountability, and the ability to develop high performing management teams.

⚙️ THE OPPORTUNITY

As General Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the performance, profitability, and long term success of the manufacturing operation.

Your responsibilities will include:

🔹 Full P&L ownership, including financial performance, budgets, and profitability

🔹 Providing strategic and operational leadership across manufacturing functions

🔹 Driving improvements in productivity, efficiency, quality, and cost performance

🔹 Leading business growth initiatives and supporting new manufacturing programs

🔹 Developing, mentoring, and strengthening the existing management team

🔹 Ensuring strong performance in safety, quality, delivery, and customer satisfaction

🔹 Implementing operational improvements and driving a culture of accountability

🔹 Working closely with senior corporate leadership on business objectives and long term strategy

🎯 WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

✅ Minimum 5 years of experience as a General Manager within manufacturing

✅ Previous full P&L responsibility is mandatory

✅ Strong background in automotive, metal manufacturing, or related industrial environments

✅ Experience leading complex, multi shift manufacturing operations

✅ Proven track record of improving operational performance, profitability, and business results

✅ Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost management

✅ Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop multidisciplinary management teams

✅ Excellent communication, decision making, and problem solving skills

✅ Strong emotional intelligence and a hands on leadership approach

✅ Stable employment history with demonstrated long term commitment

Please note: We are specifically looking for candidates who have already held a General Manager position with full operational and financial accountability.
