Role Description The Showroom Sales Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Woodbridge, ON. This role is responsible for welcoming customers to the showroom, understanding their needs, and guiding them through furniture selections that align with their style, space, and budget. The specialist will provide product information, create layouts or suggestions for room setups, and support customers with quotes, orders, and follow-up communications. Daily tasks include maintaining a polished showroom environment, ensuring products are well-presented, and collaborating with the design and operations teams to support an exceptional in-person experience. The role also involves meeting sales targets, processing transactions accurately, and contributing to ongoing customer relationships through professional and attentive service.

Qualifications

• Experience working in showrooms or retail environments, with the ability to manage product displays and support in-person customer interactions.
• Strong communication skills, including active listening and clear, professional verbal and written communication.
• Proven customer service skills, with a focus on building trust, handling inquiries, and resolving issues in a calm and respectful manner.
• Sales skills, including consultative selling, upselling, and working toward individual or team sales goals.
• Interest or experience in interior design, space planning, or home décor, with the ability to offer practical design suggestions.
• Basic proficiency with point-of-sale systems, CRM tools, and standard office software.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, move furniture or showroom items as needed, and work weekends or evenings based on showroom hours.
• Previous experience in furniture sales, home décor retail, or design consultation is an asset.
• Secondary education in business, design, retail management, or a related field is beneficial but not required.
