We are looking for drivers to operate regular school bus routes mornings and afternoons, both driving and taking responsibility for children in their care. The successful candidates will be required to hold a D1 category, preferably unendorsed, driving licence. D1 was automatically granted on most driving licences issued before 1997 but where it is not already held the school will fund the necessary training to allow a successful candidate to undertake the test. MIDAS training will also be given to successful applicants where required.
Minibus drivers are an important part of the school support team, and they must relate well with both pupils and adults. You will be flexible; work well under pressure and be approachable and friendly with all pupils, parents and staff.
