Business Development Representative (BDR / SDR)

Hospitality & Parking Services | Toronto / Greater Toronto Area

Eminent Valet is hiring a Business Development Representative in the Toronto / GTA. We are looking for someone who knows how to research an account, reach the right decision maker, and turn a cold prospect into a qualified business conversation.

This is not a call centre role. You will work directly with sales leadership to identify premium hospitality accounts, engage senior hotel operators and build qualified pipeline across Canada and the United States.

Compensation

· Base salary: $55,000 CAD

· OTE: $100,000+ CAD

What you'll do

· Research and identify target hotels, hospitality groups, ownership groups and relevant properties.

· Build targeted prospect lists and identify multiple stakeholders within each account.

· Prospect through phone, email and LinkedIn.

· Engage General Managers, Directors of Operations, Rooms leaders, Front Office leaders and other relevant decision makers.

· Understand how valet and parking operations are currently managed and identify credible business opportunities.

· Use property research, guest feedback, market activity and other relevant signals to create a strong reason for outreach.

· Qualify opportunities and book meetings with genuine business context for the business development team.

· Maintain accurate prospect, conversation, follow up and next step information in the company sales systems.

· Follow up consistently with short, mid and long term opportunities.

· Work closely with sales leadership to improve prospecting strategy, messaging and execution.

What success looks like

· Creates conversations with relevant decision makers and turns the right accounts into real opportunities.

· Generates qualified meetings with genuine business context rather than simply filling calendars.

· Understands why an account is worth pursuing before contacting it.

· Builds relationships across multiple stakeholders within an account.

· Researches enough to create relevance without getting stuck in research.

· Communicates clearly, professionally and concisely.

· Keeps an organized pipeline and follows opportunities over time.

· Learns quickly from calls, objections and market feedback.

Who we're looking for

· Previous B2B sales, SDR, BDR or outbound business development experience.

· Strong verbal communication and confidence on the phone.

· Professional written communication skills.

· Ability to speak comfortably with senior business leaders.

· Strong research and prospecting skills.

· Experience using LinkedIn for business development.

· A disciplined approach to follow up and pipeline management.

· Commercial curiosity and the confidence to ask intelligent questions.

· Ability to work independently while accepting coaching and feedback.

· Hospitality, hotel, parking, property management or service industry sales experience is an asset, but not required.

How we sell

Our approach is relationship led and research driven. Your job is not to convince someone to change valet providers on a cold call. Your job is to understand the account, uncover enough relevance to start a serious conversation, and create a strong handoff when there is an opportunity worth pursuing.

· Preparation over generic pitching.

· Quality conversations over empty activity.

· Relationships over pressure.

· Commercial curiosity over scripts.
