Reporting to the Manager, International Operations, the International Office Coordinator will be responsible for developing, tracking and liaising with both internal and external partners to support agent partnership development, assessment and ongoing agent support.

What You Will Be Doing

Follow up on and guide new recruitment agent partnership inquiries received through various departmental channels to support the completion of partnership applications;
Assess new agent applications by responding to agent inquiries, screening, verifying, and validating application documents; checking references; conducting background reviews; and providing recommendations on whether to enter a formal contract with the agent.

The incumbent may be required to provide a criminal record check.

Prepare and update formal agent contracts based on the approved contract templates for managerial review and coordinate submission to senior college leadership for review and signature;
Maintain accurate agent records and monitor agent performance through reports generated from the agent platforms, like the OCAS IAS portal;
Plan, develop, review and update the international marketing and promotional materials in collaboration with the overseas recruitment team and internal college stakeholders, including the Academic Departments, the Registrar’s office and the Marketing and Communication team to ensure the information is accurate and prepared in time for the marketing and recruitment events;
Collect, develop, and update information and documentation related to each new intake of international students in a timely manner through coordination with internal college departments and external community and overseas partners;
Update and communicate accurate and current information to new intake international students and their agents regarding the information of the college, academic programs, immigration and travel requirements, and applicable regulations and policies prior to the start of each semester, if applicable, by email or virtual sessions;
Respond to and accommodate pre-arrival inquiries and needs from new intake international students and their agents in an accurate and timely manner as required;
Be responsible for international student insurance registration, communications, reconciliation and related administrative process each semester.
Act as additional support to the college's current RISIA (Registered International Student Immigration Advisor) team as required, providing international student immigration-related services within the scope of RISIA responsibilities; and
Remain current with changes to immigration law, travel and legislation as it pertains to international students.

Required Skills

What you will need to be considered:

Two (2) year Diploma in Business, Legal or International, International Immigration or related/relevant field of study;
Regulated International Student Immigration Advisor (RISIA) Certification
Minimum 3 years of practical experience in data management, or Management Information System (MIS); and
Experience in the Canadian immigration system, especially international student related Canadian immigration policies and regulations.

The successful candidate will be proficient with using MS Office Suite, particularly MS Power Point for presentations and MS Excel for developing spreadsheets, tracking and analysing data. In-depth knowledge/work history in the college education system and/or experience with international partnership and international student is considered an asset.
