This role is ideal for someone who wants practical experience in prospecting, outreach, client engagement, partnership development and sales operations.

You will help identify potential clients and partners, support outreach campaigns, prepare for meetings, maintain prospect information, coordinate follow-ups and help move opportunities through the sales pipeline.

You may also participate in discovery calls, product demonstrations, employer meetings, conferences and networking activities.

Key Responsibilities

Research prospective clients, partners and market opportunities.
Identify relevant organizations, decision-makers and departments.
Build and organize prospect lists.
Support email, telephone and LinkedIn outreach.
Draft personalized outreach and follow-up messages.
Maintain accurate CRM records and sales activity information.
Schedule introductory meetings, discovery calls and product demonstrations.
Prepare prospect summaries, meeting agendas and briefing notes.
Support presentations, proposals and partnership documents.
Attend selected meetings, events and networking activities.
Record client needs, feedback, objections and next steps.
Track outreach, responses, meetings and pipeline activity.
Follow up with prospects and ensure opportunities continue moving forward.
Support early-stage client onboarding and relationship management.
Coordinate with marketing and internal teams on campaigns and events.

Preferred Background

This opportunity may be a strong fit for:

MBA students or recent graduates;
business, commerce, marketing or management students;
communications, public relations or sales students;
entrepreneurship or innovation students;
technology or SaaS-focused students interested in business;
candidates interested in partnerships, customer success or account management.

Preferred Qualifications

Strong written and verbal communication.
Interest in sales, business development or partnerships.
Confidence communicating through email, telephone and LinkedIn.
Ability to research organizations and identify decision-makers.
Strong organization and follow-up skills.
Attention to detail and comfort maintaining accurate records.
Ability to manage multiple prospects and tasks.
Interest in accessibility, inclusive employment, technology or social impact.
Ability to work independently and contribute to a collaborative team.
Comfort attending selected in-person meetings and events.

Experience with CRM platforms, spreadsheets, LinkedIn, Canva, presentation tools or project-management software is an asset.

Previous sales experience is helpful but not required. Training and onboarding will be provided.

What Success Looks Like

A successful intern will help the team:

identify qualified prospects and partnership opportunities;
increase consistent and personalized outreach;
secure introductory meetings;
maintain accurate CRM and pipeline records;
complete follow-ups on time;
prepare effectively for meetings and product demonstrations;
turn conversations into clear next steps;
support a professional experience for prospective partners and clients.

What You Will Learn

Business-to-business sales fundamentals.
Prospecting and lead qualification.
Partnership development.
CRM and pipeline management.
Professional outreach and follow-up.
Discovery calls and product demonstrations.
Proposal and presentation preparation.
Stakeholder engagement.
Sales reporting and performance tracking.
Working with employers, educational institutions, nonprofits and governments.

What We Offer

Hands-on sales and business development experience.
Direct mentorship and professional development.
Exposure to SaaS, accessibility and inclusive employment.
Opportunities to attend meetings, conferences and networking events.
Experience working with diverse organizations and decision-makers.
Meaningful work supporting inclusion and workforce participation.
Potential for increased responsibilities based on performance and organizational needs.

Our Hiring and Accessibility Approach

At Enabled Talent, we believe people are more than a résumé.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete a brief questionnaire and may begin with an informal conversation rather than a traditional interview.

If you require accessibility accommodations, communication supports or workplace adjustments during recruitment or employment, we will work with you to create an equitable and accessible experience.
