Senior AEM Cloud Architect

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior AEM Cloud Architect / Technical Lead with 8+ years of AEM experience, including 3+ years with AEM as a Cloud Service, to lead enterprise AEM transformation and migration from on-premises AEM 6.5 to AEM Cloud Service.

Roles & Responsibilities

Lead AEM 6.5 to AEM as a Cloud Service migration initiatives.
Design and implement AEM templates, components, and OSGi services.
Develop HTL/Sightly, Sling Models, OSGi configurations, Servlets, Schedulers, and Event Handlers.
Design headless and omnichannel content delivery using Content Fragments, Experience Fragments, and GraphQL.
Configure Cloud Manager pipelines and GitHub/BitBucket repository synchronization.
Optimize AEM Dispatcher and CDN configurations for performance and reliability.
Integrate AEM with the Adobe Experience Cloud ecosystem.
Support enterprise DAM implementations and AEM Sites integrations.
Guide technical teams and establish AI-assisted development best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

8+ years of AEM experience with 3+ years of AEM as a Cloud Service.
At least one completed AEM 6.x → AEM Cloud Service migration.
Expert knowledge of AEM Cloud Architecture, Cloud Manager, and deployment pipelines.
Strong experience with HTL/Sightly, Clientlibs, HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, Lit, ReactJS, and NextJS.
Strong experience with OSGi, Sling Models, Servlets, Schedulers, and Event Handlers.
API integration experience with AEM.
Headless content delivery using Content Fragments, Experience Fragments, and GraphQL.
Enterprise DAM and multi-site architecture experience.
Strong understanding of Dispatcher, reverse proxy, and load balancers.
Experience with AI coding tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, and GitHub Copilot.

Preferred Skills

Adobe Data Collection – Tags, WebSDK, MobileSDK, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, and AEP.
Adobe OpenAPI for AEM Assets and AEM Sites.
AI tools within AEM as a Cloud Service.
Modern CDN and performance optimization.
CI/CD and DevOps best practices.
Adobe I/O and event-driven integrations.
AEM Developer or Architect certification.
