Provide technical leadership within a small delivery team by mentoring team members and promoting best practices in application development.
Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, including analysis, development, testing, deployment, and operational support.
Troubleshoot complex application issues, lead incident resolution activities, and serve as the technical escalation point for critical system support.
Collaborate with Business Analysts, stakeholders, and managed service providers to deliver enhancements, resolve issues, and drive continuous service improvements.
Contribute to architectural discussions, development standards, policies, and processes while identifying opportunities to improve business performance through technology.

Who You Are:

4+ years of experience developing and supporting web-based applications within a software development environment, including experience with full stack development practices.
Strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET Framework/.NET Core, Angular, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON web services, Entity Framework, and modern application architecture principles.
Proven ability to analyze business requirements, diagnose complex technical issues, and deliver practical, high-quality solutions.
Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.
Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies, Azure DevOps, GitHub, cloud technologies, or pipeline operations would be considered an asset.

Preferred:

Knowledge of the oil and gas industry and an understanding of pipeline operations and related business processes is considered an asset.
Experience leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to enhance software development, testing, or delivery processes is an asset.
Experience collaborating with and overseeing third-party managed service providers is preferred.
Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to guide, influence, and motivate individuals and teams to achieve shared objectives.

Working Conditions:

Collaborative team environment supporting critical operational applications and services.
Diverse and fast-paced workload requiring strong prioritization and problem-solving skills.
Flexibility to support planned implementations, system upgrades, and critical incident response activities outside of regular business hours, as required.

Benefits:

A flexible benefits program that allows each employee to select the level of coverage needed for their family in the areas of health, dental, insurance and disability.
A paid maternity and parental leave benefit that offers up to 20 weeks of paid leave for birth-giving parents and up to 12 weeks for other eligible parents, providing flexibility and support during this important life event.
Valuable retirement savings plans, including a savings plan with company stock as an investment option.
Paid time off/vacation/sick, plus paid personal days off (depending on location), and paid holidays.
An Employee and Family Assistance Program.
A Wellness Program, which focuses on supporting healthier employees by providing tools, resources, and opportunities to improve physical, mental, social, and financial well-being.
