Original job description

Senior Account Manager

📍 Remote (Canada) | Hybrid Available – Kitchener, ON 🧑‍💼 Reports to: Director, Customer Success

Salary Range (base pay): $90,000 - $100,000

🏢 About Encircle

Encircle is leading the $1.6 trillion property insurance industry out of the dark ages of pen and paper, into the digital age of transparency and empowerment. Our easy-to-use software platform enables thousands of restoration contractors and insurance professionals across North America to process claims faster and with greater accuracy.

We’re a remote-first company with a collaboration hub in downtown Kitchener - and we’re growing.

📌 About the Role

Our Senior Account Managers are experienced sales professionals who own Encircle’s largest and most complex customer relationships. You’ll manage a portfolio of high-value, multi-location accounts, drive renewal and expansion across them, and act as a trusted advisor to customer leadership. You will partner closely with the Customer Success team and Revenue Leadership to grow net revenue retention and achieve your targets

🔧 Key Responsibilities

Own a portfolio of strategic, high-ARR and multi-location customers, with full accountability for renewal,
retention and expansion targets
Lead complex renewals end to end, including pricing, negotiation, quote creation, Salesforce opportunity
management and signature
Build and maintain account plans that map stakeholders, usage trends, risks and whitespace for each key
customer
Develop relationships with owners, operations leaders and decision-makers, and lead business reviews that
connect Encircle to customer outcomes
Identify and close cross-sell and upsell opportunities for new products, using platform data and account
insights to build pipeline
Partner with Customer Success to identify at-risk accounts early and lead save strategies for escalated or
competitive situations
Handle advanced objections with confidence, including discount requests, competitive evaluations, budget
pressure and non-renewal risk
Forecast accurately and maintain a clean pipeline with clear visibility into commit, best case and risk
Develop deep product expertise to deliver tailored demonstrations of the Encircle platform to existing
customers
Bring customer feedback and market trends back to Product, Marketing and GTM leadership
And, of course, crush your quota

✅ What You Bring

4+ years in a quota-carrying, customer-facing role such as an account manager or account executive
Previous B2B SaaS experience, ideally with multi-location or mid-market customers
Consistent YOY success exceeding quota and growing revenue within an existing book
Strong negotiation and objection-handling skills on complex renewals and expansions
Experience building relationships with and presenting to senior stakeholders
A strategic, data-driven approach to account planning and forecasting
Ability to manage multiple priorities and customer expectations across a large book
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with customers and internal stakeholders
Proficiency with tools like Salesforce, ChurnZero, G-Suite, etc.
Hands-on proficiency with AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) and a habit of using AI in your daily work to
research accounts, prep for calls, draft outreach and work more efficiently
Nice to have: experience in property restoration, insurance or construction tech

🤝 Why Encircle?

We VALUE our people:

Balance: Flexible hours, self-managed vacation, and trust to manage your time
Remote-first: Work where you’re most productive - with access to our collaboration hub in Kitchener
Growth-oriented: We support your learning and career development
Well-being: We care about the full human - inside and outside of work

Encircle is an equal opportunity employer committed to building a diverse and inclusive team. We encourage all qualified candidates to apply and will work with applicants to accommodate accessibility needs throughout the hiring process.

A Note on Authenticity: We value genuine interest and authentic interaction. Please be aware that we reserve the right to disqualify candidates if it is determined that application materials or interview responses are excessively generated by AI tools or misrepresent your personal skills and experience.
