Summary:

Are you someone who thrives on solving real-world problems, loves turning complexity into clarity, and gets excited when technology actually makes life easier for people? The Value Stream Owner is a strategic leader responsible for the end-to-end delivery and optimisation of a value stream, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs. This role bridges strategy and execution, connecting enterprise goals to measurable outcomes while fostering collaboration across technology, operations, and business teams.

You’ll be a key player in our digital transformation journey - working with passionate teams of developers, product owners, and business stakeholders to make our customer and employee platforms smarter, faster, and friendlier.

Responsibilities

  • Lead engaging discovery sessions with business and technical teams to explore needs, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Translate ideas into user stories, epics, personas, and acceptance criteria that Engineers love to work from.
  • Create service blueprints, journey maps, functional process maps, data flows, and documentation that connect the dots.
  • Dive into application tools and data analysis to support requirements, solution design and validate results.
  • Design and document scalable, user-centered solutions that improve both customer and internal user experiences.
  • Help shape and prioritize the product backlog, run sprint planning, and contribute to Agile delivery with your team.
  • Partner with QA to support test planning, cases, and validation to ensure we build things right.
  • Support production troubleshooting by conducting root cause analysis and helping to implement fixes that stick.
  • Collaborate with Delivery Managers and Scrum Masters to keep work on track and aligned with the business strategy.
  • Build trusted relationships with engineering, product, business operations, customer service, and vendor teams.
  • Serve as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment and shared understanding.
  • Use data and insight to inform decision-making and steer conversations toward outcomes.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a Value Stream Owner, Product Manager, Technical Product owner, or Senior Business Systems Analyst
  • Experience managing programs across multiple teams or business units with strong organizational coordination skills.
  • Strong skills in requirements elicitation, documentation, process design, and Agile delivery.
  • Familiarity with tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, and performance dashboards.
  • Working knowledge of SQL for data analysis and troubleshooting.
  • A collaborative mindset with great communication skills - you translate between business and tech with ease.
  • Curiosity, adaptability, and a love for turning complexity into simple, human-centered solutions.
  • Familiarity with customer engagement platforms, digital workflows, or field service systems is a strong asset.
  • PMP or Agile certifications are a plus - but your ability to execute matters more.
  • Proven track record in Lean-Agile transformation, value stream mapping, and cross-functional leadership.
