Role Description The employe terrain role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Montreal Metropolitan Area. This role involves traveling to client locations to install and remove outdoor advertising displays, large-format signage, vinyl graphics, and illuminated signs according to project specifications and safety standards. The employe terrain prepares materials and tools, performs site surveys and measurements, and supports technical installations, maintenance, and repair work. Daily tasks include loading and unloading equipment, working at heights when required, collaborating with team members to complete projects on schedule, and communicating effectively with supervisors regarding progress and site conditions. The role requires adherence to health and safety regulations, accurate documentation of work performed, and a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Experience in outdoor signage, construction, or field installation work, including basic knowledge of tools, hardware, and installation techniques.
- Ability to work safely at heights and outdoors in varying weather conditions, with strong awareness of health and safety procedures.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; comfortable traveling within the Greater Montreal Area and occasionally beyond.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and move materials and equipment, and to perform manual work for extended periods.
- Basic mechanical or technical aptitude for installing illuminated signs and custom structures, with willingness to learn new methods.
- Good teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to follow instructions, meet deadlines, and maintain a professional attitude on-site.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work that aligns with client specifications and company standards.
- French proficiency required; English communication skills considered an asset. Previous experience in signage, advertising, or a related trade is an asset.
