Job Description:

Required Technical Skills Expertise

  • Expert-level hands-on experience designing, building, deploying and supporting enterprise-grade Microsoft Fabric solutions.
  • The candidate must independently develop solutions and resolve production issues.

Consumption Data Access

Fabric SQL Endpoints REST and GraphQL APIs external application integration reverse ETL Semantic Models and enterprise reporting Power BI SharePoint file drop and distribution email based delivery and notifications external file exchange and data sharing patterns

DevOps CICD Release Management

Fabric Git integration source control and branching CICD pipeline implementation deployment pipelines automated code promotion DEV SIT UAT and PROD environment management build validation release automation and rollback support

Hands-on Leadership Support

Active participation in solution design coding code reviews testing deployment troubleshooting performance optimization and L3 production support technical leadership client interaction and mentoring of Fabric engineering teams

Role expectation This is a hands-on engineering leadership role The candidate will be expected to personally build pipelines and notebooks develop PySpark solutions implement CICD review code manage deployments, troubleshoot failures and support production workloads

Responsibilities

Design, build, deploy, and support enterprise Microsoft Fabric solutions, including data pipelines, notebooks, PySpark workloads, integrations, and Power BI semantic models. Lead hands-on delivery through code reviews, CI/CD and release management, performance optimization, troubleshooting, production support, client interaction, and team mentoring.

Requirements

Requires expert-level hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and the ability to independently develop solutions and resolve production issues. The role also calls for skills in data engineering, ingestion and integration, SQL and PySpark, dimensional modeling, CI/CD, deployment management, and technical leadership; Power BI is listed as mandatory.
