Title: Guidewire Claim Center Developer

Location: Markham, ON (Hybrid)

Job Type: Contract

Job description

Primary Skills (Must Have):

Guidewire Associate Certification
Guidewire Senior Developer with ClaimCenter functional and integration API knowledge
GOSU development extending Cloud APIs
Understanding of Claims domain is a plus
5 years proven experience in Guidewire ClaimCenter Integration Development
Expertise in GOSU Language configuration and coding using Guidewire tools and accelerators Guidewire Batch and Guidewire predefined plugins
Read code in other languages and reverse engineer products
Agile software development including the use of Git Bitbucket Jenkins Jira Confluence etc.
Domain knowledge on Property and Casualty Insurance
5 years of experience with coding GOSU Language
Expertise in the end-to-end design and development of business database applications
Experience building modern web applications and designing Web APIs with RESTJSON
In-depth understanding of design thinking and customer centric development
Guidewire ClaimCenter Contact Manager experience
Experience working on Guidewire Cloud
Handson experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter Proficiency in designing developing and managing Guidewire ClaimCenter features and capabilities
Familiarity with Guidewire Cloud Tools TeamCity Bitbucket Data Dog Guidewire Home
Understanding Guidewire Messaging Engine Message Queues Message Transports Plugins
5 years of experience with relational databases
Experience in implementing Cloud APIs Web Services

Responsibilities

Design, develop, configure, and extend Guidewire ClaimCenter features, integrations, and Cloud APIs using GOSU and Guidewire tools. Build and manage database-backed applications and REST/JSON web APIs, and support batch processing, plugins, and messaging capabilities.

Requirements

Requires five years of Guidewire ClaimCenter integration development and GOSU coding experience, along with hands-on ClaimCenter and Guidewire Cloud experience. Candidates should have a Guidewire Associate Certification, knowledge of claims and Property and Casualty insurance, relational databases, web APIs, and Agile tools and practices.
