Original job description

Company Description

EnviCore Inc. develops sustainable solutions for the construction and mining sectors by transforming waste minerals into high-value materials. The company repurposes by-products from diverse construction and mining activities into superior supplementary cementitious materials. These materials can replace up to 40% of traditional cement in concrete mixes, reducing environmental impact and supporting low-carbon construction. EnviCore’s work enables partners to improve resource efficiency while maintaining performance and quality in concrete applications.

The position provides comprehensive executive support, including calendar management, meeting coordination, travel arrangements, and preparation of presentations and documents. The role also oversees day-to-day office operations such as reception duties, supplies management, vendor coordination, and maintaining a professional and organized workspace. The Executive Assistant & Office Manager will prepare and track purchase requests and expense reports, assist with budgeting and basic bookkeeping support, and ensure timely processing of invoices. This role includes managing internal communications, organizing team events, supporting recruitment logistics, and serving as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

Strong Executive Administrative Assistance and Executive Support skills, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and preparation of documents and presentations.
Experience with Administrative Assistance, office operations, and vendor coordination to ensure smooth daily functioning of the workplace.
Proficiency in preparing and managing Purchase Requests and Expense Reports, with attention to detail and accuracy in tracking and reconciliation.
Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with executives, team members, and external partners.
Proficiency with office productivity tools (e.g., MS Office or equivalent), and comfort with learning new software systems.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with a focus on prioritization and follow-through.
Ability to work independently on-site in Calgary, AB, while collaborating effectively in a small, fast-paced team environment.
