Inside Sales Representative

Location: Sudbury, ON

Compensation: 40 – 50K

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Representative to join our team in Sudbury. This role will support our sales operations across the greater Sudbury area by generating new business, reconnecting with past customers, qualifying inbound opportunities, and supporting the Outside Sales team with larger prospects.

The ideal candidate is confident on the phone, highly organized, and comfortable making outbound calls while building strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct outbound calls to past, existing, and prospective customers to identify new sales opportunities.
Re-engage past customers and pursue smaller revenue opportunities directly.
Generate and qualify leads for larger opportunities and pass qualified opportunities to the Outside Sales team.
Respond to inbound sales calls and inquiries, determining whether opportunities should be handled by Inside or Outside Sales.
Maintain regular follow-up with prospects and customers to identify additional service opportunities.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication.
Research prospects and identify potential new business opportunities.
Maintain accurate customer and sales activity records.
Work closely with Outside Sales, Operations, and branch teams to ensure a smooth customer experience.
Follow up on quotes, leads, and outstanding opportunities in a timely manner.
Meet established activity, lead generation, and sales targets.
Support sales initiatives, promotions, and other business development activities as required.

What We're Looking For

2+ years of experience in inside sales, business development, customer service, or a similar role.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Confident and comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls.
Strong ability to identify customer needs and qualify sales opportunities.
Self-motivated, organized, and results-oriented.
Ability to manage multiple leads and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong computer skills and experience using CRM or sales tracking systems.
Previous experience in waste, environmental services, transportation, industrial services, or a related industry is an asset.
