Position Description

We currently have two (2) exciting roles for Red seal certified CVIP Licensed Mechanics to service our fleet of commercial vehicles in our Edmonton location.

Position Responsibilities

Perform all service and repairs of all Company vehicles/equipment.
Conduct on-road service calls as needed.
Perform all levels of preventive maintenance services, including inspections, brake work, electrical, tire changes and oil changes.
Communicate with the Operations Managers for approval of material purchases.
Work in a safe manner in accordance too the provincial regulations.
Additional duties may be required.

Qualifications

Must hold a valid Red seal certified CVIP license. (Heavy Equipment Technician such as a Red Seal or 310T).
Valid Alberta Drivers License. Class 3 with air brake certification preferred.
3 - 5 years maintenance experience as a licenced mechanic.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions as required.
Experience in waste equipment and function is considered an asset.
Extensive knowledge of hydraulics preferred.
