Managing regulatory and permitting requirements with external stakeholders including: Alberta Utilities Commission (AUC), Alberta Electric System Operator (AESO), City of Edmonton, Province of Alberta, Alberta Infrastructure, Alberta Environment, Department of Fisheries and Oceans, other regulatory and government agencies.
Conducting routine project site inspections, identifying and documenting safety or environmental risks, and assigning appropriate corrective actions. Supporting HSE-led investigations as required.
Keeping projects on track and meeting performance and compliance requirements by:
- Leading kick-off and planning meetings for large-scale, high-profile, environmentally sensitive or complex projects.
- Maintaining strong communication with field crews, inspectors, contractors, engineering teams and other project partners.
- Monitoring progress and project metrics, and ensuring changes are properly documented and approved through the change order process.
