What You'll Do
We're looking for a senior Tools Programmer to help build the next generation of UI tooling for users and AI-powered agentic workflows (tools that let AI agents assist with and automate UI creation, iteration, and debugging). In this role, you will

- Own and evolve the UI tech codebase used to build tools and in-game UI in Unreal Engine
- Set technical direction for UI tooling and mentor other programmers

- Profile and resolve performance and memory issues in UI systems
- Work with Epic's internal teams and Unreal Engine licensees to help them solve UI challenges
What we're looking for
- Strong tools-programming background with experience building tools that improve development workflows in games or other fields
- Deep expertise in the UI domain (UI frameworks, runtime UI engines, and editor/WYSIWYG tooling)
- Excellent C++ skills and experience working in a large codebase
- Some hands-on exposure to AI-powered or agentic workflows, whether through work, courses, or personal projects
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Experience with Unreal Engine is a plus
- Experience with Slate and/or UMG is a plus
