HRIS Analyst

Location: Montreal, QC (Hybrid)

Contract: 12-Month Contract with Potential Extensions

About The Role

Our client is seeking an experienced HRIS Analyst to join the HR Analytics & Insights team. In this role, you will serve as a key partner to HR stakeholders and IT teams, supporting, maintaining, and enhancing HR technology solutions across the organization.

The successful candidate will help drive HR digital transformation initiatives, improve business processes through automation, ensure data integrity, and provide technical expertise across HR systems and applications.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Program Management

Lead HRIS projects and enhancements from requirements gathering through implementation.
Partner with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to identify and deliver technology solutions.
Participate in SDLC activities, including analysis, design, testing, and UAT.
Prioritize HRIS initiatives based on business needs and impact.
Support alignment between regional and global HR technology strategies.
Drive process improvement and automation initiatives.

HRIS Support & Administration

Provide advanced support for HR systems and applications.
Diagnose and resolve HRIS data issues and interface failures.
Collaborate with IT teams to manage development backlogs and enhancement requests.
Ensure HR systems comply with governance and regulatory requirements.
Support auditing and maintenance of employee lifecycle data.

Data Integrity & Reporting

Conduct complex data validations, reconciliations, and audits.
Develop and maintain PeopleSoft queries and HR reports.
Support system configuration changes and mass data updates.
Manage integrations between PeopleSoft HCM and supporting systems such as Payroll and Compensation.

Required Qualifications

5-7 years of HRIS experience.
Experience with HRIS platforms, preferably PeopleSoft HCM.
Advanced experience developing and troubleshooting PeopleSoft Queries.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Experience with SDLC, testing, and UAT activities.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of HR processes and employee lifecycle management.
Banking or financial services industry experience.
Project management experience.
Experience supporting HR technology transformation initiatives.
