Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Guidewire PolicyCenter Technical Lead with strong expertise in Guidewire Cloud, PolicyCenter configuration, and integrations.

The successful candidate will provide technical leadership across the design, development, and implementation of Guidewire PolicyCenter solutions.

This role involves working closely with solution architects, developers, business analysts, QA professionals, and delivery teams to design scalable technical solutions, define integration strategies, guide implementation, and ensure successful delivery across the Guidewire ecosystem.

The ideal candidate will combine hands-on Guidewire technical expertise with strong solution design and technical leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Leadership & Solution Design

•Lead the technical design and implementation of Guidewire PolicyCenter solutions.

•Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the solution delivery lifecycle.

•Translate functional and business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

•Define technical approaches, design patterns, and implementation standards.

•Review technical designs and provide guidance to development teams.

•Troubleshoot and resolve complex configuration and integration issues.

2. Guidewire Cloud & Configuration

•Design, implement, and support Guidewire Cloud-based solutions.

•Provide technical expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter configuration.

•Guide development teams on PolicyCenter configuration and customization.

•Ensure solutions follow Guidewire Cloud architecture and implementation best practices.

•Support technical readiness across development, testing, deployment, and production environments.

3. Integration & API Architecture

•Design and implement integrations between Guidewire PolicyCenter and internal or external enterprise systems.

•Define integration strategies using REST and SOAP APIs.

•Design and support microservices-based integration solutions.

•Provide technical guidance on API design, integration patterns, and system connectivity.

•Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration and technical issues.

4. Delivery & Team Collaboration

•Collaborate with solution architects, developers, business analysts, QA professionals, and business stakeholders.

•Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.

•Support development, testing, implementation, and production-readiness activities.

•Contribute to technical documentation, development standards, and knowledge transfer.

•Ensure consistent technical implementation practices across delivery teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

•8+ years of hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter.

•Strong expertise in Guidewire Cloud.

•Extensive experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter configuration and customization.

•Strong experience designing and implementing Guidewire integrations.

•Guidewire ACE Certification in PolicyCenter Configuration and/or Integration.

•Demonstrated experience in technical leadership and solution design.

•Strong hands-on experience with REST APIs and SOAP APIs.

•Experience designing scalable integration solutions and working with microservices architecture.

•Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

•Experience leading Guidewire PolicyCenter implementation and cloud transformation projects.

•Experience with enterprise application integration and API architecture.

•Experience working with cross-functional and distributed development teams.

•Strong understanding of Guidewire Cloud architecture and implementation best practices.
