DESIGN CONSULTANT

Full-Time | Burlington, Ontario | Full Commission: 7% of Written Sales | Earning Potential: $65,000–$75,000+ per year

Are you a sales professional who is motivated by results and wants your performance to have a direct impact on your earnings?

You don’t need to be an interior designer to succeed at EQ3. If you have strong sales skills and an interest in furniture and design, we’ll provide the product knowledge and tools you need to build your expertise.

You’ll be joining our Burlington team at 1510 North Service Road, Unit C, Burlington, Ontario, in a full-time capacity.

WHY JOIN EQ3?

Full commission: 7% of written sales
Earning potential of $65,000–$75,000+ per year
Unlimited opportunity to increase your earnings through performance
Competitive benefits package
Paid time off
Employee discount program on EQ3 products
Wellness programs and additional employee perks
Training in product knowledge, design, and customer experience
Opportunities for professional development and career growth within EQ3

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a Design Consultant, you’ll help customers select furniture and accessories that fit their space, lifestyle, and budget.

You’ll develop your own sales opportunities, build lasting customer relationships, and take ownership of achieving your individual sales goals.

In this role, you will:

Welcome customers and understand their needs
Recommend furniture solutions that complement their space, lifestyle, and personal style
Present and sell products across our upholstery, dining, bedroom, and accessories collections
Turn customer conversations and opportunities into sales
Follow up with customers and build long-term relationships
Develop your client base and generate new sales opportunities
Consistently achieve and exceed individual sales goals
Build strong knowledge of EQ3 products, materials, and options
Collaborate with your team to deliver an exceptional customer experience

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

You could be a great fit if you:

Have experience in retail sales, consultative sales, or commission-based sales
Are motivated by goals, results, and the opportunity to increase your earnings
Enjoy building relationships with customers
Are confident following up with customers and closing sales
Are self-motivated, proactive, and accountable for your results
Have an interest in furniture, design, and quality products
Are available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Experience in furniture or interior design is an asset, but it is not required.

Sales experience in furniture, home décor, appliances, automotive, kitchens, flooring, home improvement, or other specialized retail environments may be particularly relevant.

YOUR PERFORMANCE. YOUR POTENTIAL.

At EQ3, performance is rewarded.

This position offers full-commission compensation equal to 7% of written sales, with an earning potential of approximately $65,000–$75,000+ per year for full-time Design Consultants.

Your earning potential can grow with your performance. Success in this role comes from building relationships, creating opportunities, following up with customers, and consistently delivering sales results.

If you’re motivated by sales and want your performance to have a direct impact on your earnings, this could be the opportunity for you.

DESIGN FOR LIFE

At EQ3, we believe great design should last a lifetime.

Our Design for Life philosophy reflects our commitment to authentic modern design, quality craftsmanship, and furniture made to be lived with for years to come.

But EQ3 is more than a design brand. We are a performance-driven retail business built on customer relationships, exceptional experiences, and entrepreneurial thinking.

Ready to turn your sales talent into a career at EQ3?

Apply today. We’d love to meet you.
